There are so many wonderful, funny & interesting Brits living in this country. Let’s hear from them.
Meet the #britsofsweden 🇬🇧🇸🇪

"According to my parents, one of the first phrases I learnt was
“I´m bilingual, you know”. And many years later, I´m eternally thankful for having grown up with two word-police parents, one British and one Swedish.

My mum was born in North London and disappointed her parents greatly by moving to Sweden at a tender age, to shack up with her Swedish hippy boyfriend.

Forty odd years on, they´re still going strong and have managed to bring up three daughters who feel equally at home watching Eastenders as they do in front of Mello.

My name´s Sasha and I´ve recently decided to pitch in and help improve the English language skills of some Swedes in need, by opening an English language company called Miss English.

We do teaching, copywriting and translating and it´s a heck of a lot of fun.

So, cheers mummy and pappa for being so rigid when we grew up!"
